Attributes definition is a part of the BellaDati's data warehouse modelling. All attributes have an unique code beginning with "L_" prefix (L as level) that serves as unique identifier (eg. for counts, filtering, custom members definition, etc.).

Instance of particular attribute is called member.

 

Creating Attribute

Attributes can be created in three different ways:

Attribute name must be unique in the whole data set. Otherwise warning message will be displayed and the attribute will not be saved.

Note

When the data set is a part of join, you can choose if you want to propagate new attribute to joined data set (by checking the propagation option in dialog window).

Editing Attribute

You can modify the attribute by clicking on it's name in the list. Display dialogue window will allow you to:

  • Change attribute name
  • Change attribute code
  • Change ETL column name

 

Note
  1. All changes in attributes name will influence immediately all existing Reports and Dashboards containing affected attributes.
  2. Changing of attribute name does not affect it's code - code needs to be changed in separate field.
  3. Changing of attribute name will not affect attribute's names in joined data sets.
  4. Changing of attribute code may influence existing reports and calculations where this particular code is used.
  5. Attribute code must start with "L_" prefix.

Deleting Attribute

The attribute will be deleted with all corresponding data.

Note

Attribute removal will influence immediately all existing Reports and Dashboards (including filters and custom members). All data assigned to this attribute will be deleted.

Atribúty sú súčasťou modelu dátového úložiska BellaDati. Všetky atribúty majú vlastný kód začínajúci na "L_" (L ako anglicky level, teda úroveň), ktorý slúži ako unikátny identifikátor (napríklad pre filtrovanie, vytváranie vlastných hodnôt atribútov apod.).

Zložka jednotlivých atribút sa nazýva hodnota atribútu

 

Vytváranie atribútov

Atribúty je možné vytvoriť troma spôsobmi:

Názov atribútu musí byť unikátny pre celú skupinu dát. V opačnom prípade bude zobrazená chybová hláška a atribút nebude uložený.

Note

Keď je skupina dát súčasťou spojenia, môžete vybrať, či chcete aby bol nový atribút pridaný aj do spojenej skupiny dát (zaškrtnutím príslušnej možnosti).

Úprava atribútu

Atribút je možné upraviť kliknutím na jeho názov v zozname.

  1. Všetky zmeny v názve atribútu budú okamžite odrazené vo všetkých existujúcich Reportoch a Dashboardoch obsahujúcich daný atribút.
  2. Zmena názvu atribútu neovplyvní jeho kód
  3. Zmena názvu atribútu neovplyvní jeho názov v spojených skupinách dát.

Odstránenie atribútu

Atribút bude zmazaný so všetkými odpovedajúcimi dátami.

Note

Odstránenie atribútu okamžite ovplyvní všetky Reporty and Dashboardy (vrátane filtrov a vlastných hodnôt atribútu). Všetky dáta priradené k atribútu budú zmazané.
