This screen is used to capture, analyze and download data collected and processed by IoT Collector or assign the device metadata.

Capturing data

  • Start data capture - will start collecting data obtained by IoT collector
  • Capture interval [ms]- interval in which the data are captured (minimum interval is 50 ms)
  • Stop capture - will stop capturing data. If the capture is not stopped by the user, it will be automatically stopped after 5 minutes
  • Refresh - will reload the displayed content based on the data which are captured (table, line chart or line chart FFT)
  • Display type - select type of visualisation which will be used on captured data. Following options are available:
    • Table - will display captured data in the form of table
    • Line chart - will display captured data in the form of line chart, numerical value which will be displayed needs to be selected in the field Select item to display 
    • Line chart FFT - will display the outputs of the Fast Fourier Transformation

Managing captured data

  • Select existing capture - select the previous captures to see the collected data, click the button Delete to delete previous captures
  • Display type - select type of visualisation which will be used on captured data. Following options are available:
    • Table - will display captured data in the form of table. Displayed items: columns displayed in the table, click the button to remove them from the displayed table. Available items - available columns which can be added to the displayed table 
    • Line chart - will display captured data in the form of line chart, numerical value which will be displayed needs to be selected in the field Select item to display
    • Line chart FFT - will display the outputs of the Fast Fourier Transformation
  • Save as XLSX - will export and download captured data as Excel file

Assigning metadata

Metadata are used to provide additional information about the device. Following metadata can be assigned to each device:

  • Name
  • Device type - see Types
  • Device group - see Groups
  • Description
  • Location - devices with GPS coordinates can be displayed on the map in Monitoring

To assign data, click on the action Assign metadata in the last column of the table. It is also possible to edit already existing metadata by clicking on Edit metadata.
