Documentation supposes that you have:

• Successfully downloaded BellaDati Mac installer from BellaDati Download.
• Your machine meets Minimal System Requirements.

1. Welcome and Information

Click Next to proceed with installation.

2. Licence Terms

Read and Accept the agreement.

Click Next to proceed with installation.

3. Select Destination Directory

BellaDati has a predefined installation directory. Click browse to navigate to different folder if you want to modify predefined settings. BellaDati will check your free disk space capacity.

4. Database Setup

BellaDati allows you to connect to existing database or automatically creates one for you. Choose desired action and continue to:

• 4.1. Installing with built-in databse
• 4.2. Connecting to existing database. Select if you already have PostgreSQL data warehouse.

Click Next to proceed with installation.

4.1. Installing with built-in database.

Approve or edit following default settings:

• Database port. Make sure, that port is not being used by other applications or services.
• Shared buffers
• Work memory
• Effective cache size

Click Next to proceed with installation.

4.2. Connecting to existing database

Specify following connection parameters:

• Hostname or IP
• Port
• Database name
• Username
• Password

Click Next to proceed with installation.

5. Email server configuration

Approve or edit following default settings:

• Hostname or IP
• Port
• Username
• Password
• SSL

Click Next to proceed with installation.

5. Web Server parameters

Approve or edit following default settings:

• Hostname
• Port. Make sure, that port is not being used by other applications or services.

Click Next and wait for BellaDati to be installed.

7. Finishing Installation

Installation has been finished. Click the Click here to open BellaDati in your web browser link to run BellaDati Configuration.

Continue with Running the Setup Wizard.

Troubleshooting

• If you have not allowed automatic start up of the server in web server configuration or starting failed, run it manually via belladati-start_mac (default path: Applications/BellaDati).
• If you had not clicked Open BellaDati in your web browser and finished installation or opening failed, open your favourite browser an type: http://localhost:8080. (default port: 8080 or port you specified in web server configuration).
