Connecting to FTP has similarities with Importing from file. In addition FTP imports can be scheduled to execute automatically and repeatedly. Advanced security can be achieved using SSL (FTPS/FTPES modes) in conjuction with basic authentication.

Settings

Enter the following parameters to connect to FTP source:

  1. Host: FTP server address
  2. Login / Password (optional)
  3. Use SSL: Enables FTPS/FTPES mode. (optional)
  4. Path and File selection
  5. File type selection
  6. Continue to Importing from file according to file type present on FTP.
