Connecting to FTP has similarities with file import. In addition FTP imports can be scheduled to execute automatically and repeatedly. Advanced security can be achieved using SSL (FTPS/FTPES modes) in conjuction with basic authentication.
Settings
Enter the following parameters to connect to FTP source:
- Host: FTP server address
- Login / Password (optional)
- Use SSL: Enables FTPS/FTPES mode. (optional)
- Path and File selection
- File type selection
- Continue to file import settings according to file type present on FTP.
- Execute the data import or schedule regular imports if needed.
