Dynamic deployment of new modules is available since BellaDati IoT Data Controller1.3.
This functionality is available to domain administrator and IoT administrator in single-domain environment, and to domain administrator who is also global administrator in multi-domain environment.
During the installation of the IoT Data Controller, users can choose the number of modules which will be created. Additional modules can be deployed dynamically through the IoT Console. When deploying a new module, user has to assign the module to an already existing instance. Each instance is a separately running process. Each module created during the installation will have its own instance.
To deploy a new module, users have to click on the button Add.
Next, they have to select the instance and confirm the creation by clicking on Add.
After confirmation, the module is created and the user is automatically redirected to the module detail. The module is deployed on an available port.
