Data import process allows user to fill BellaDati's data warehouse. Data can be imported also from various sources. There are two types of import:
- Manual import from data files or clipboard content
- Automatic scheduled import from data sources
Manual import
You can import from following sources manually by uploading data file into BellaDati:
- Clipboard content from various applications like MS Excel, web browser, command line, etc.
- Data file in various formats - from CSV and XML to XLS/XLSX, in ZIP archive as well.
- Adding row using data browser
Automatic import
Automatic import enables connecting to external sources and load the data periodically. It is available for following data sources:
- SQL Databases
- Content available on URL using the HTTP protocol
- Web services: Google Analytics | Google Spreadsheets | SalesForce | Facebook | Amiando | YouTube
You can start the data import in already existing data set or together with creating new data set. To execute data import wizard, click on "Import data" item in the left menu in data set. When you are importing data to a new data set, you must specify it's unique name first. See creating data set for more details.
